The 7th annual Mentone Chili Cook-Off took place at Greenspot Farms in Mentone on September 22, 2007. Despite the rain, a good time was had by all. The October 10th edition of the Newsletter has a rundown of this event. Pictures can be viewed here.

The Dedication for the new Mentone Senior Center & Library occurred on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 9:00A.M. at 1331 Opal Avenue. Light Refreshments were served. Several local dignitaries and officials spoke. Afterwards, citizens were able to walk through the facility and check out materials. The October 10th edition of the Newsletter has more information about the Library/Senior Center.

The 6th Annual Mentone Golf Tournament took place on March 19, 2007 at the Calimesa Country Club. A fun time was had by all. The April 15th edition of the Newsletter has a lot of pictures from this event.

The Mentone Chamber of Commerce sponsored Poker Tournament, held on February 3, 2007, to benefit Clear View Treatment Center was a great success. Plans are in the works to stage another tournament in the future. Keep checking this site for details as they develop.
